Extend the included tripod legs and attach the head and handle. Make sure it's on a stable, level surface.

Assembly Instructions
Get your SoundCatcher up and running in minutes. Steps marked PRO apply only to the PRO and STUDIO packages.

Mount the SoundCatcher
Place the SoundCatcher onto the tripod, making sure the mounting plate is fully seated in the receiver.
Close the mounting latch
Slide the locking lever back to secure the SoundCatcher to the stand. Give it a gentle tug to confirm it's locked.
Attach the mixing board tray
PROSlide the mixer tray mount onto the stand arm and tighten the clamp.
Place the mixing board & connect XLR
PROSet the mixing board onto the tray. Connect the XLR cable from the microphone to Channel 1 on the mixer.
Connect power and earbuds
PROPlug in the power block and connect the USB cord to power the mixer. Plug your headphones or earbuds into the 1/8" Phones jack.
Enable phantom power
PROMake sure the +48V Phantom Power button is depressed. This powers the condenser microphone.
Adjust gain and volume
PROSet the Gain and Volume on Channel 1, as well as the Main and Phone outputs, to achieve your desired monitoring volume.
Connect Bluetooth (optional)
PROPress the MODE/BT button (center-right on the mixing board) until the display reads "BT". Pair your phone or tablet. Depress the ST/USB button on Ch3/4 and adjust the Ch3/4 volume to blend with your playing.
Add effects (optional)
PROAdd Delay and Reverb if desired by depressing the EFX button for any channel you want effects applied to. Adjust the effect level to taste.
Recording via USB
PROThe mixing board can also be connected to your computer, phone, or tablet as a USB Sound Card. Use it with any DAW, recording app, or video call software.

Pro tips
Getting the best sound
Microphone position
The built-in microphone is positioned to capture your sound optimally. No adjustment needed — just play naturally.
Gain staging
Start with the Channel 1 gain at about 50%, then adjust up or down until you hear a clear signal without clipping.
Bluetooth latency
For play-along tracks, Bluetooth works great. For recording in sync with a DAW, use the USB connection for zero-latency monitoring.
Bell fit
The standard cap fits bells up to 6". If your instrument has a larger bell, order an additional cap in the correct size (available in ½" increments up to 11").
